Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs Of The Valley in Phoenix is seeking a part-time Youth Development Specialist- Technology. You will supervise members and deliver high-yield, tech-focused activities under the Program Director, with duties including program development, safety, and volunteer guidance.

Responsibilities include leading programming in coding, robotics, and design, coordinating tech showcases, and ensuring a positive, inclusive Club experience. Some travel between BGCAZ branches may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Passion for working with youth and technology.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, organizes, and facilitates programs using a formal curriculum.
• Directly runs programming and high-yield activities in the tech area.
• Facilitate technology-focused programming (coding, robotics, design) for youth.
• Plan tech showcases/events to display youth projects and celebrate achievements.
• Administers outcome measurement tools and maintains safety.
• Supports club culture, policy adherence, and volunteer guidance.
