Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with 3D Printers and software, Coding software, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Interest and experience in area of specialty.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience with diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, setup and deliver activities within specialty areas (3D Printing, Modeling, Coding, Stop Motion) tailored to age groups.
• Instruct Assistants on teaching activities within specialty.
• Lead specialty activities/classes each program day.
• Maintain supply inventory and keep storage area neat; maintain computer lab and equipment.
• Greet participants with enthusiasm and learn their names.
• Encourage youth development and model positive discipline and teamwork.
• Develop positive relationships with families and increase volunteer participation.
• Help keep program areas clean and safe.
• Be actively participatory and take initiative in all activities.
• Act as needed when not leading a specialty program.
