Job summary

South Mountain YMCA is seeking a Program Specialist for the Computer Lab and 3D Printing to design and run engaging activities for youth. You will supervise children, coordinate with staff, manage supplies, and maintain the computer lab and equipment with enthusiasm.

The role focuses on creating fun, educational experiences in coding, 3D printing, and related creative areas while upholding safety standards and fostering positive peer interactions a€“ all within a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with 3D printers and related software.
• Experience working with children.
• Interest and experience in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead computer lab and 3D printing activities for youth.
• Instruct assistants and lead daily specialty activities.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and lab cleanliness.
• Ensure safety and positive participant experience.
• Build positive relationships with families and volunteers.
