Job summary

Kamaʻāina Kids in Hawaii is seeking a compassionate 1:1 Youth Support Leader to provide individualized support during after school activities in Aiea. You will help a child participate in activities, build friendships, and feel included in a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates have experience with autism, ADHD, or other developmental differences, and are pursuing studies in psychology, education, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Must provide one-on-one support during after-school activities.
• Ability to encourage participation and social interaction.
• Help create a safe, inclusive environment for the child.

Kamaʻāina Kids is seeking a compassionate and dependable 1:1 Youth Support Leader to provide individualized support to a child participating in one of our After School Programs in Aiea.

In this rewarding role, you’ll help a child successfully engage in activities, build friendships, develop confidence, and experience all the fun and enrichment our after school program has to offer.

$18–$21/hour | Real Benefits for Part-Time Employees

This may be a great fit if you have experience:

• Working with children with autism, ADHD, developmental differences, or other support needs
• As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA team member
• In special education, inclusion, childcare, education, recreation, camp, or youth programs
• Volunteering with children who require additional support
• Supporting a family member or loved one with autism or other developmental differences
• Studying psychology, education, social work, speech therapy, occupational therapy, behavioral health, or a related field

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one support for a child during after school activities
