Job summary

Kamaʻāina Kids in Hawaii is seeking a compassionate and dependable 1:1 Youth Support Leader to provide individualized support to a child in our After School Program in Aiea. You will help the child participate in activities, build friendships, and feel included.

This part-time role offers weekday afternoons with pay between $18 and $21 per hour, plus paid training, college tuition assistance, childcare discounts, employee recognition, and opportunities for advancement within Hawaiʻi's largest

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with autism, ADHD or developmental differences.
• RBT certification or ABA team experience is a plus.
• Active study in psychology or education related fields is beneficial.
• Compassion, patience, reliability and a willingness to support children.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to a child during after-school activities.
• Encourage participation and positive peer interactions.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with staff and families to support the child's success.
• Model patience, encouragement, and positive behavior.
