Job summary

Seneca Family of Agencies’ Welcoming Center in Santa Clara County seeks a Youth Stabilization Specialist to support children and teens aged 0–17 with safety, stability, and growth. You will conduct regular check-ins, lead life skills groups, provide crisis interventions, participate in treatment planning, and coordinate transportation as needed.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll help create a calm, structured environment within a home-like setting and contribute to ongoing care plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of experience OR Associate degree + 2 years of applicable experience in youth or family services.
• Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead of time
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Maintain supervision of youth and promote a consistent, structured routine in a home environment.
• Participate in client treatment planning meetings (program, CFT, education-related)
• Implement plan interventions to support social and emotional health goals
• Complete client documentation including county health plan progress notes and incident reports
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed
• Coordinate transportation for school, medical, activities, therapy, and court appearances
• Provide crisis on-call support and attend program staff meetings as required
