Job summary

Homeless Children’s Network is seeking a SUD Program Director to oversee the youth SUD program under DMC-ODS, ensuring evidence-based treatment and regulatory compliance in San Francisco.

Responsibilities include clinical supervision, program management, staff development, and strong collaboration with Medical Director and county partners to enhance services for unhoused youth and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling.
• Licensed in California (BBS or BOP) with at least 4 years post-licensure.
• Approved clinical supervisor by the appropriate Board; 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with SUD and co-occurring disorders in clinical/outpatient/hospital setting.
• Knowledge of Medi-Cal or Drug Medi-Cal services.
• Minimum 5 years of direct services to children, youth, and families.
• Experience with youth and families, including child welfare/juvenile justice.
• Knowledge of adolescent development and treatment approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to counselors and staff.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and oversight of MAT within DMC-ODS.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and SF County on clinical matters.
• Lead risk management discussions and capacity planning.
• Oversee program budget, compliance and QA standards.
• Hire, train and supervise DMC-ODS staff.
• Engage with community partners and coordinate care.
• Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory reporting.
