SCAN, Inc., doing business as SCAN TRY Outpatient Program in Laredo, TX, seeks a Counselor to provide developmentally appropriate substance use disorder treatment to youth aged 13–17 in an outpatient setting.
You will collaborate with families, schools, and community partners while delivering individual, group, and family counseling, case planning, and ongoing assessment to support recovery goals and long-term success.
Serving Children and Adults in Need, Inc. (SCAN) is seeking a qualified and motivated Counselor to provide substance use disorder treatment services to adolescents ages 13-17 through our Treatment for Youth (TRY) Outpatient Program, funded by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).
Position Summary
The Counselor will provide developmentally appropriate, evidence-based substance use disorder treatment services to adolescents and their families in an outpatient setting. The position works closely with youth, parents/guardians, referral sources, schools, juvenile justice agencies, and other community partners to support successful treatment and long-term recovery.
