Job summary

Preble Street is seeking a full-time Teen Services Street Outreach Specialist to join the Teen Services Outreach Team in Portland, ME. The role focuses on outreach and engagement with youth and young adults 12-24, coordinating short-term and longer-term services and documenting interactions.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field (or a degree in another field plus one year of relevant social work experience) and a 21+ age minimum, with shifts Sunday-Thursday

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field or equivalent experience required.
Experience in outreach and engagement with youth/young adults, preferably in homelessness services.
Ability to coordinate short-term and longer-term services and documentation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, facilitate, and conduct outreach and engagement activities in the community and at the Preble Street Teen Center.
Provide short-term case coordination and connect clients to basic need services.
Support Teen Services programs through documentation and cross-team coordination.
