Job summary

Preble Street in Portland, ME is hiring a Teen Services Caseworker to provide comprehensive case management and housing-related services for homeless or housing-insecure youth aged 12–21. The role supports program safety, outreach, and data reporting, while aligning with agency goals.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Social Work (or related field) with 1–3 years of relevant experience; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field, or comparable education/experience.
Master's Degree in Social Work or related field, or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with 2–3 years relevant experience preferred.
Staff must understand Preble Street mission, Harm Reduction, Housing First, and social/economic justice.
Must be at least 21 years old and obtain First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive case management and housing-related services.
Ensure safety of clients and program spaces.
Participate in program coverage and outreach activities; collect, document, and report information and data as required.
Work as part of the Teen Services team to meet program goals.
