Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years of experience leading sports events or tournaments.
• Experience coaching youth and volunteer coaches.
• Ability to engage and inspire youth in athletic activities.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
• Experience working with diverse communities and school programs.
• Proficiency with computer and internet-based tools for communications and grants.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall sports program including rules, standings, and forms across seasons.
• Create a safe, inclusive program and organize practices, games, and regional tournaments.
• Plan and implement positive after-school sports programming.
• Coordinate events, fitness sessions, practices, and league games with staff and volunteers.
• Manage coaches, referees, and volunteers across sites with strong communication.
• Deliver training for coaches and referees to promote skills and sportsmanship.
• Maintain participation data for grant reporting and inventory of equipment.
• Assist in creating and maintaining events and field trips tracking systems.
• Obtain quotes for venues, food services, and other facilities within budget.
• Support virtual, in-person, or hybrid activity formats for wellness programs.
• Lead practices that build skills and enhance understanding of rules and boundaries.
• Promote Think Together core values in after-school contexts and community outreach.
• Collaborate with Site Program Managers to maintain equipment and inventory.
