Qualifications

• Associates degree or some college in physical education, health or youth development preferred or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years’ experience directing youth or sports programs; BGCL experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required, while additional certifications or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leadership: perform admin duties, recruit participants, and coordinate scheduling.
• Strategic Planning: develop and supervise seasonal youth leagues, train coaches, and coordinate events.
• Resource Management: recruit and manage coaches/volunteers, ensure proper equipment and budgeting.
• Partnership Development: build relationships with parents, schools, and community groups.
• Marketing and Public Relations: design flyers and media; provide photos/videos and captions.
• Additional Responsibilities: handle purchases, transport members, and carry out other duties.
