Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego is seeking a part-time Sports Coordinator in Ramona, CA to oversee youth sports programming for ASES students. You will lead coaches and volunteers, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety protocols are followed across sites.

The role requires experience in sports leagues, youth coaching, and strong communication. You will manage registrations, budgets, and equipment while collaborating with schools and BGCGSD staff.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required; BA in recreation or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years related work experience with sports league planning and execution.
• Youth coaching experience required; ability to communicate team concepts and sport techniques.
• Proficiency with computers and office software; strong communication with youth, parents, staff, volunteers.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures programs and activities adhere to current health and safety protocols.
• Assist in sports leagues for the organization (South and North County).
• Plan, implement, supervise, and coordinate the Youth Sports League; promote interest and participation.
• Supervise league activities in gym or on fields.
• Manage marketing deadlines, registration day, and league logistics.
• Run assessment clinics and build balanced teams by age and experience.
• Schedule games, practices, and pictures; order uniforms and equipment within budget.
• Ensure equipment is in good condition and secured; maintain records of expenditures.
• Recruit and supervise referees and volunteer coaches; ensure background clearance is complete.
