Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation seeks a Sports Instructor and Athlete Development to coach and officiate youth leagues, creating a positive, fun atmosphere for players aged 3-13 throughout Saturdays and seasonal programs.

You will reinforce core values, ensure safety on field, and support program operations while developing leadership skills and contributing to a child’s athletic journey.

Qualifications

• Love working with kids and youth development.
• Ability to coach, officiate, or play sports.
• Strong communication with kids, parents, and coaches.
• Willing to work Saturdays 7 AM–1 PM, with occasional weeknights.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs to set up equipment.
• Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.

• Teach & Demonstrate Core Values: Encourage and instill sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence.
• Ensure a Safe & Fun Environment: Enforce rules while maintaining a positive, educational experience for all players.
• Manage Game Day: Keep time and score, instruct players on rules, and ensure appropriate competition for each age group.
• Fill in as Needed: Step in to coach when volunteers are unavailable.
• Promote Positive Culture: Be the face of i9 Sports on game days, interacting with parents, players, and coaches to ensure a fun experience for all.

i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues and clinics for kids ages 3-13 in today’s most popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis and (T-Ball) baseball. With our focus on fun, safety, convenience, and good sportsmanship, i9 Sports is reinventing the youth sports experience for families across the country. It’s the way youth sports should be.

As a Sports Instructor and Athlete Development with i9 Sports, you’ll play a key role on the field, enforcing rules, coaching, officiating and creating a positive, fun atmosphere with the team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in youth sports while building leadership skills and contributing to a child’s athletic journey.

• Problem-Solving Ability: Stay calm under pressure and take charge when needed to ensure a smooth, safe environment.
• Reliability: Available Saturdays from 7 AM to 1 PM, with occasional weeknight shifts.
• Physical Readiness: Able to lift 25-50 lbs. to set up sports equipment.
• Background Check: Must pass a National Criminal Background Check

Availability

• Saturday Program: Year-round 5-6 week programs every Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM. (Few weeks off in between seasons)
