A youth sports organization is seeking a Sports Coordinator to promote sportsmanship and teamwork while ensuring a safe and fun environment for children ages 3-13. Responsibilities include game management and coaching, requiring strong communication skills and a background in sports. Qualifications

• Experience playing, coaching, or officiating sports.
• Able to communicate with children, parents, and coaches effectively.
• Stay calm under pressure and ensure a smooth, safe environment.
• Available Saturdays from 7 AM to 2 PM, with occasional weeknight shifts.
• Able to lift 25-50 lbs. for setting up sports equipment.
• Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and instill sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence.
• Enforce i9 Sports rules while ensuring a positive experience.
• Keep time and score, instruct players on rules.
• Coach when volunteers are unavailable.
• Interact with parents, players, and coaches on game days.

i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues and clinics for kids ages 3-13 in today’s most popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis and (T-Ball) baseball. With our focus on fun, safety, convenience, and good sportsmanship, i9 Sports is reinventing the youth sports experience for families across the country. It’s the way youth sports should be.

As a Sports Coordinator with i9 Sports, you’ll play a key role on the field, enforcing rules and creating a positive, fun atmosphere. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in youth sports while building leadership skills and contributing to a child’s athletic journey.

Responsibilities

• Teach & Demonstrate Core Values: Encourage and instill sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence.
• Ensure a Safe & Fun Environment: Enforce i9 Sports rules while maintaining a positive, educational experience for all players.
• Manage Game Day: Keep time and score, instruct players on rules, and ensure appropriate competition for each age group.
• Fill in as Needed: Step in to coach when volunteers are unavailable.
• Promote Positive Culture: Be the face of i9 Sports on game days, interacting with parents, players, and coaches to ensure a fun experience for all.

Availability

• Saturday Program: Year-round 5-6 week programs every Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM. (Few weeks off in between seasons)
