Job summary

Athlete To Athlete is seeking an Account Manager to own post-sale relationships with a dedicated portfolio of families and mentors. This on-site role requires in-office presence five days a week in Santa Monica and involves proactive outreach, renewal management, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will coordinate onboarding, maintain detailed notes, and ensure a world-class experience while driving retention and renewal growth for youth sports mentorship programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in client-facing roles such as account management, consulting, or business development.
• Experience owning a high number of accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable managing a high volume of ongoing relationships and follow-ups.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and account management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated portfolio of customers and mentor accounts as their main point of contact throughout their time with A2A.
• Conduct proactive outreach to check in on engagement and reinforce program value.
• Monitor account health signals and intervene early to prevent escalation.
• Own renewal conversations, including timing outreach and presenting upgrade options.
• Coordinate with mentors and customers to resolve scheduling or mentor-change issues.
• Maintain accurate, complete notes on every account.
• Run onboarding calls for mentors and customers for success.
• Act as Voice of Customer and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product and Engineering.
