Job summary

The Elizabeth Layton Center, Inc. is seeking a part-time Youth Specialist to join the CBS team in Ottawa, KS.

The role focuses on supervising and supporting youth with severe emotional disturbance, delivering individual and group services, and promoting independence and community inclusion. Responsibilities include psychosocial rehab, activity planning, transportation support, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 40 hours of training in providing supportive services or willingness to attend 40 hours onsite training.
• Must pass a security check as required by Medicaid regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one psychosocial rehabilitation services for youth.
• Develop and lead structured psychosocial group activities.
• Support youths' personal goals and treatment plans.
• Maintain safe, productive environment during program hours.
• Recordkeeping and timely submission of paperwork.
