Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Sports Coordinator to enhance the experience for players and coaches across our youth programs. You will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring instructional delivery and safety during practices and games.

Your role includes observing, assessing, and assisting coaches, with hands-on involvement in practices and games across age groups and skill levels, while maintaining a positive customer-service oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Motivated self-starter; able to work independently and solve problems.
• Awareness and ability to take charge to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and some evenings through the season (about 7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
