Job summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The coordinator will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring instructional aspects are delivered, observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches.

The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels. A positive attitude and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Awareness of safety and player wellbeing.
• Ability to build professional relationships.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focused on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values.
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
