Job summary

i9 Sports in Florida is seeking a Sports Coordinator to enhance the experience for players and coaches. You will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the instructional aspects of the program are delivered.

You will observe, assess, and assist our coaches, with hands-on involvement in practices and games for all ages and skill levels. This role requires strong communication, the ability to empower volunteer coaches, and a positive customer-service attitude.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with players, parents and coaches.
• Experience coaching specific sports with solid knowledge.
• Able to work independently and solve issues as they arise.
• Aware of safety and able to manage challenging situations.
• Positive attitude and strong relationship-building skills.
• Willing to work weekends/evenings for the season.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practices with focus on fundamentals and fun.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship.
• Supervise operation of designated sport on game day.
• Maintain a positive attitude and deliver top-level customer service.
