The Position

We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach! You will lead children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety. Prior experience working with children (as a coach, teacher, camper, or leader) is preferred. This role is ideal for someone interested in early childhood education or child development. Coaches can work 5-25 classes a week and earn from $18-$25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual attention to ensure every child's success
• Create a fun, stress-free environment using a non-competitive approach
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage and celebrate success
• Attend regular training sessions and follow the coaching manual

Coaching Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead energetic and motivating classes, challenge children, and inspire a love of movement and healthy habits
• Provide attention to individual and group needs
• Be punctual and prepared for classes

Additional Duties

• Assist with equipment management
• Support the hiring process
• Manage marketing materials
• Record classes for coach development

Requirements

• Willing to travel within Putnam County
• Availability during weekday mornings, afternoons, and/or early evenings
• Experience working with children and soccer background are preferred
• Fun, energetic, patient, attentive, and punctual

Schedule

Most classes are during after-school hours and weekends. Availability on some of the following times is preferred:

• Monday-Friday: 3:00-6:00 PM
• Weekends: 9:00 AM-12:00 PM

Location

Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreation centers in Putnam and Rockland Counties, NY, with travel up to an hour expected.
