The Position

We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach! You will lead children in fun, educational activities while ensuring safety. Prior experience working with children (as a coach, teacher, camper, or leader) is preferred. This role is ideal for someone interested in early childhood education or child development. Coaches can work 5-25 classes per week, earning $18-$25/hour.

• Provide individual attention to ensure each child's success
• Create a fun, stress-free environment using a non-competitive approach
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage and celebrate success
• Maintain a positive attitude, be open to feedback, and attend regular training sessions

Coaching Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead energetic classes, challenge and connect with each child, promote motor skills and love for movement
• Provide individual and group attention
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to engage
• Make soccer fun and suitable for all ages

Additional Duties:

• Assist with equipment management
• Support the hiring process by sourcing and screening candidates
• Manage marketing materials
• Record classes for coach development

Requirements

• Willing to travel within Rockland County
• Availability includes weekday mornings (9am-12pm), afternoons (12pm-3pm), and/or early evenings (3pm-6pm)
• Experience working with children preferred
• Soccer background preferred
• Fun, energetic, patient, attentive, punctual

The Schedule

Most classes are after school and on weekends. Availability on some of the following times is preferred:

• Monday-Friday: 3:00-6:00pm
• Weekends: 9:00am-12:00pm
