The Position
We are looking for an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach! Responsible for leading children in engaging, educational activities while ensuring safety. Prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper, or leader) is preferred. This role is ideal for someone interested in early childhood education or child development. Coaches can work multiple classes weekly and earn from $18-$25 per hour.

Coaching Approach

- Be open-minded, receptive to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement through training and following our coaching manual

Responsibilities
- Assist in teaching energetic, motivating classes
- Connect with children and help achieve motor and skill development goals
- Ensure punctuality and preparedness for classes
- Make soccer fun and engaging for all age groups

Additional Duties
- Assist with equipment management
- Support the hiring process
- Manage marketing materials
- Record classes for coach development

Requirements
- Willingness to travel within Passaic County and NE New Jersey
- Availability during weekday mornings, afternoons, and/or early evenings; weekend availability is a plus
- Prior experience with children and soccer background are preferred
- Must be FUN, ENERGETIC, PATIENT, ATTENTIVE, & PUNCTUAL

Schedule
Most classes are after school and on weekends. Availability during these times is preferred:
- Monday-Friday: 9:00-12:00 and 3:00-6:00
- Weekends: 9:00-12:00

Location
Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreational centers in Passaic County, Pompton Valley, and Bergen County, NJ, with travel up to an hour.
