About Us:

Soccer Stars is the leading youth soccer program for children ages 12 months to 13 years in Long Island and Eastern Queens. Our acclaimed program provides an energetic, enjoyable, and age-appropriate introduction to the game of soccer through classes, camps, and clinics held in schools, community centers, and local parks. We focus on developing soccer skills, social skills, and character, creating a positive and lasting impact on every child we coach.

Requirements:

Who We Are Looking For:
Enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate part-time coaches who love working with children, enjoy teaching through play, and have a flexible schedule. We value dependability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children grow and thrive. Candidates should be skilled at creating positive connections with children, parents, and team members.

Responsibilities:

• Coaching children in soccer classes, camps, and clinics
• Creating a positive and engaging environment for kids
• Communicating effectively with parents and team members

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of coaching, teaching, or working with children, including experience with early childhood (ages 1-5) and children with learning or developmental disabilities is a plus
• Availability to work a minimum of 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) and 2 weekdays
• Hours of Operation: Weekdays 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM; Weekends Saturday 9 AM - 5:30 PM or Sunday 9 AM - 3 PM
• Seasonal Schedule: Spring (Late March to June), Fall (Early September to Mid-December), limited hours in Winter and Summer
• Reliable transportation to classes within 45 minutes
• Comfortable using mobile devices for scheduling and communication
