Goal Getters LLC, a KidsUnited franchise in Overland Park, seeks a coach to lead engaging soccer classes for children aged 1.5 to 9, following the official curriculum and structure. You will play a key role in developing physical coordination, life skills, and social growth within a supportive team environment.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work daytime, evening, and weekend hours, and a passion for helping children reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of coaching youth soccer.
• Or 1 year of experience with children plus a background in playing soccer.
• Strong verbal and written communication; English fluency required; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach engaging classes for children ages 1.5-9 years.
• Follow the KidsUnited structure and curriculum.
• Assist in ongoing design of KidsUnited training program.
• Support children’s growth by developing body mastery, soccer coordination and life skills through our curriculum.
• Build positive relationships with both parents and children, creating a welcoming and encouraging environment.
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress through daily parent feedback.
• Keep accurate records of progress reviews.
• Ensure that health and safety precautions are observed during all activities.
• Attend ongoing trainings and team meetings to continue professional development and uphold program standards.

brand in youth development through soccer.

Our state-of-the-art facility is at 135th St & Quivira

Rd in south Overland Park, less than 1 mile from the Scheel’s Overland Park Soccer Complex and

right next door to Soccer Master.

KidsUnited is a soccer center for early development. Our unique training method is intended to

develop physical, personal, intellectual abilities and social skills of children from 1.5 to 9 years

old. KidsUnited not only teaches children how to play soccer; it also acts as an early

development system, using soccer as the main educational and delivery tool. As a KidsUnited

coach, you will have an opportunity to make a positive impact on children during the most

important stage of their development years. Not only will you help children develop, but

through our ongoing training, you can reach your full coaching potential.

• 1 year of experience working with children, combined with a background in playing soccer
• Solid verbal and written communication skills required. English fluency required. Bilingual in Spanish or other language a plus!
• Ability to work and function in a KidsUnited TEAM environment
• Flexible to work daytime, evening, and weekend hours as needed
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Experience working with children required
