State of Delaware is seeking a Family Service Supervisor to lead staff who supervise youth in the shelter program. The role includes staff orientation, ongoing training in case management and social service practices, reviewing case histories, and coordinating with other agencies to meet youth needs.

Responsibilities include conducting conferences, evaluating performance, and providing crisis support as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Two years' experience in health or human services focusing on safety and welfare of families.
• Three years' experience in case management: planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating services.
• Coursework or work experience in staff supervision.

Aufgaben

• Assigns cases to staff, sets caseload controls, reviews case histories and monitors treatment plan conformity.
• Holds conferences to discuss cases, workload and resources; evaluates staff performance.
• Provides orientation for new employees and ongoing training on case management theories and procedures.
• Prepares reports on unit effectiveness and monthly treatment activity statistics as requested.
• Acts as intermediary to coordinate service plans across divisions and agencies.
• May support staff in crisis situations and potential safety interventions when needed.
