Job summary

MWVCAA in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a Youth Site Specialist to supervise at-risk youth, help them access basic needs, and provide a safe space at Home Youth Services shelters.

You will coordinate with Case Managers and volunteers, support data entry in HMIS, and ensure program expectations are met while promoting trauma-informed care.

The role offers growth opportunities and requires a strong commitment to equity and community service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and relevant experience in fast-paced settings.
• Four+ years in customer service, healthcare, education, social or community services, or related fields; or equivalent.
• College coursework in social sciences or related human services preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients during shift and provide mentoring and support.
• Transport clients to school, appointments, and activities in agency vehicles.
• Coordinate with Case Managers, Site Specialists and volunteers for program delivery.
• Input service usage data into HMIS and Shelter Point.
• Promote trauma-informed care and maintain a safe, respectful environment.
