Job summary

VisionQuest (VQ) is seeking a Trainer to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees at the Residential Treatment Center (RTC). The role focuses on meeting Texas Minimum Standards for General Residential Operations and DFPS contract requirements while enriching staff with engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 2+ years of instructor-led training delivery experience.
• Experience using an LMS is required.
• Experience designing training curricula and coordinating events is preferred.
• Residential treatment/child welfare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop training curricula aligned with Texas licensing standards and DFPS requirements.
• Design lesson plans and select content sources to meet learning objectives.
• Deliver instructor-led training in-person and virtually; facilitate orientation and annual trainings.
• Conduct CPI training with safety skills practice.
• Observe, evaluate, and coach participants to ensure skill mastery.
• Maintain training records and use LMS to track progress.
• Ensure training complies with regulatory requirements and company policies.
