Job summary

VisionQuest seeks a Child Care Worker to supervise youth in residential and community settings. You will foster a safe, learning‑oriented environment while following policies and state and federal rules. The role emphasizes trauma‑informed care and collaboration with a dedicated team.

You will support daily activities, coordinate events, and assist with appointments and documentation, ensuring high standards of care and safety for all youth served.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 21 years or older and pass background checks.
• CPR/First Aid and CPI certification required or to be obtained.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for program services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of children in care at all times.
• Manage daily living activities, meals, routines, and hygiene.
• Document progress, behavior, and health records.
• Assist with planning events and transportation for activities.
• Administer medications as directed and report needs.
• Develop trauma-informed, supportive learning environments.
• Support training for new hires and ensure safety protocols.
