Bernalillo County is seeking a Youth Program Officer I to support the Youth Services Center in Albuquerque. The position offers a $25.80 hourly union rate and a comprehensive benefits package, with a close date of December 3, 2026.

The duties include maintaining resident safety, processing new residents, and implementing programs that teach daily living and social skills. Requirements include a high school diploma and two years of related experience or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain security, order and discipline to prevent disturbance and ensure safety.
• Process new residents and orient them to rules and regulations.
• Maintain logs of incidents and monitor residents' locations.
• Evaluate and implement programs for daily living, social, and work/study skills.
• Counsel residents in group and individual sessions.
• Provide reports on residents to supervisors.
