Job summary

Fondulac District Library is seeking a creative, enthusiastic Youth Services Assistant to support the Youth Services Department and assist patrons of all ages. The role involves helping with programs, displays, and finding materials, plus a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Job description

Fondulac District Library is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and fun-loving person who enjoys working with children of all ages and their caregivers for a part-time Youth Services Assistant position. In this position, the candidate will help maintain the Youth Services Department, assist library users in finding materials, assist with projects and programs, create eye-catching and informative displays, and have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Fondulac District Library, Tazewell County

Hours

10-20 hours/week. The position is currently regularly scheduled Mondays and Thursdays 4-8 p.m. and Fridays 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m., as well as 1 weekend per 4-week rotation (Saturdays 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays 12:30-5 p.m.). Additional day, evening, and weekend availability preferred.

$15.00-17.25 per hour starting. Dependent on experience, qualifications, and internal organizational equity. Includes paid vacation, sick, and personal time and an Employee Assistance Program.
