Job summary

BYU Pathway Seminary in Spokane, WA is seeking a Substitute Teacher to instruct youth in the restored gospel. This temporary, entry-level role focuses on lesson preparation, effective teaching, and collaboration with a program administrator.

You will work to deepen students' faith, help them develop gospel knowledge and testimonies, and guide them toward temple preparation, while demonstrating empathy and a commitment to ongoing learning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn the gospel in partnership with a program administrator.
• Prepare and present lessons to students.
• Assist students to fulfill their role in the learning process.
• Teach in the Savior’s Way by focusing on Jesus Christ and the Spirit.
• Create learning experiences centered on the restored gospel.
• Participate in regular training opportunities.
• Seek feedback through surveys and observations.
• Other duties as assigned
