  • Assists the Patrol and Investigations Divisions in processing juveniles.
  • Maintains relationships with juvenile authorities and agencies.
  • Reports unusual problems to the supervisor while supervising juveniles.
  • Supports youth relations through counseling, instruction and coaching.
  • Ensures safety belts are used for passengers.
  • Develops strategies with supervisors aligned to Cadet Program goals.
  • Maintains communication with the supervisor while on duty.
  • Complies with City rules, department policies and confidentiality.
  • Participates in training programs and attends community meetings.
