Job summary

FamilyCore is seeking staff for the Day Respite and Supportive Respite programs serving youth and adoptive families in Illinois. You will supervise youth, tutor assignments, and deliver age-appropriate social skills activities in a structured setting.

The role requires 1-3 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, and successful background checks. Duties include planning activities, coordinating with families, and maintaining a safe, professional environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Must pass background checks with DCFS/IDPH.

Responsibilities

• Provide close supervision of youth and assist with homework.
• Plan and facilitate program activities and group sessions.
• Maintain a calm, structured environment and manage data/confidential info.
• Obtain parental permission and develop working relationships with families.
• Ensure safety protocols and cross-train in related roles.
