Job summary

Jefferson Center for Mental Health in Colorado is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Youth Residential Recovery (YRR) program. You will oversee day-to-day operations, clinical supervision, and staff development to ensure high-quality ASAM-aligned care for youth aged 13 to 18.5.

Responsibilities include admissions, treatment planning, documentation, referral review, and interdisciplinary coordination with the Manager of Substance Use Services.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in related field plus two years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Clinical licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) preferred but not required.
• LAC certification required or can obtain within 18 months of hire.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Integrated health approaches experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred or within two months of hire.
• Must be 21+ years old and have a valid Colorado driver's license.
• Pass a stringent background check including CBI, FBI, and TRAILS.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in substance use residential services and integrated behavioral health

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing clinical oversight from referral to discharge and aftercare planning.
• Oversees treatment planning, assessments, and discharge planning per regulatory and payer requirements.
• Performs regular chart reviews and documentation audits for quality and compliance.
• Supervises 10-15 staff to ensure daily operations meet regulatory standards.
• Develops staff schedules and manages unit staffing within the staffing matrix.
• Ensures policy compliance and maintains records quality.
• Oversees physical exams, psychiatric evaluations, and medication monitoring per policy.
• Responds to crises involving clients or potential clients.
• Coordinates Involuntary Commitments and extended-stay approvals when appropriate.
• Ensures ASAM level-of-care alignment and pre-authorizations prior to admission/transfer.
