Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Program Supervisor I for the East Mountain Youth Lodge (EMYL) in New Jersey. The role focuses on day‑to‑day operations, staff hiring/training, scheduling, supervision and ensuring compliance with licensing standards. Hours are typically 2:30 p.m.

to 11:00 p.m., with potential for additional shifts as program needs require. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field, and a minimum of 2 years working with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
Minimum of 2 years working with adolescents in a similar environment.
AHA HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED Certification, or completed within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Interviewing and hiring EMYL direct care staff and participating in recruitment events as needed.
Supervises and trains Residential Counselors, Shift Leaders and Senior Shift Leaders; ensures staff adhere to Lodge policies.
Oversees staffing coverage with the EMYL Staffing Coordinator and manages PTO discussions.
Provides direct supervision and progressive discipline, supports staff development through Employee Rounding.
Assists in budgeting and tracking expenditures; manages pre-approved food budget and meals planning.
Maintains petty cash/leadinggers, tracks residents' clothing money and reconciles receipts.
