Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Program Supervisor I to oversee day-to-day operations and logistics of the East Mountain Youth Lodge residential milieus.

You will hire, train, schedule, supervise, develop and discipline direct care staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work, at least 2 years of experience with adolescents, and AHA HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED certification (or completion within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years working with adolescents in a similar environment.
• AHA HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED Certification, or completed within the first 90 days of employment.
• LSW, LCSW, LAC or LPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle the day-to-day operations and logistics of the East Mountain Youth Lodge (EMYL) residential milieus.
• Hire, train, schedule, supervise, develop and disciplining of direct care staff.
• Ensure documentation and procedures are in compliance with Joint Commission, Medicaid, and DCF/CSOC licensing/accreditation standards.
• Regular contact with medical personnel and its visitors.

Under the direction of the Director of Administrative Operations at EMYL, the Program Supervisor I is responsible for handling the day-to-day operations and logistics of the East Mountain Youth Lodge (EMYL) residential milieus. The Program Supervisor is responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, developing and disciplining of direct care staff. The Program Supervisor ensures that all necessary documentation and procedures are in compliance with Joint Commission, Medicaid, and DCF/CSOC licensing/accreditation standards.

*Hours are 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Minimum of 2 years working with adolescents in a similar environment.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• AHA HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED Certification, or completed within the first 90 days of employment.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• LSW, LCSW, LAC or LPC.
• In the BHSU Program CADC or LCADC or similar experience in addiction treatment.
