Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services Group in New Jersey is seeking a Program Director to supervise a residential youth-treatment program. This full-time role partners with the Clinical Team Leader to maintain a safe, strengths-based milieu aligned with the agency's clinical philosophy.

You will oversee budgets, scheduling, staff performance and program implementation, coordinating with schools and families. A Master’s degree and 3+ years of youth experience with supervisory duties are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, education or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with youth/adolescents.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct coordination of daily program activities.
• Hire, supervise and evaluate all Program staff, including on-call scheduling.
• Develop and implement staff orientation and training programs.
• Lead staff meetings and participate in group sessions as needed.
• Assign consumers to residential therapists and monitor relationships.
• Develop staff schedules and approve timecards.
• Participate in individual, group and family therapy as indicated.
• Coordinate with families, schools and community resources.
• Ensure safe, developmentally appropriate milieu and crisis response.
