Job summary

United Methodist Ministry with Children and Families, Inc. is seeking a Resident Advisor to provide program services and intervene with children and youths in a group home setting. You will implement treatment services, teach life skills, and support families and community partners.

Responsibilities include medication administration, daily documentation, and maintaining a safe, clean home environment. Flexibility for overnight and weekend shifts, plus valid driver's license, are required.

Qualifications

• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college; or Associate’s Degree in related field and one (1) year experience; or High School Diploma and three (3) years working with client population.
• Strong people skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement direct treatment services according to an individualized service plan and agency model of care.
• Teach youth curriculum of skills (social, self-help, independent living, academic).
• Foster a normalized family-style home environment with counseling and support for youth.
• Develop and participate in activities for youths and staff.
• Model professional values for youths, staff and community.
• Maintain detailed youth documentation and medication administration as ordered.
• Drive agency vehicles to transport youths and operate treatment program facets.
• Provide coverage and support for other homes as scheduled by administrators.
• Attend regularly scheduled training and maintain required certifications.
