Job summary

ROCS Grad Staffing is seeking dedicated Residential Counselors to supervise and support adolescents in our residential campus. You will monitor behavioral well-being, help with development, and ensure a safe, structured environment.

Positions are available as full-time and part-time; full-time requires weekend availability. Pay is $23–$26 per hour, with weekend shifts required for some roles and varying weekday schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and six months experience with children.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or actively pursuing the degree.
• Ability to support resident-family visitation and community involvement.
• Ability to document waive testing accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to provide Residential services to adolescents at our main campus. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate supervision, support, and guidance to youth residing in our residential facility. Your responsibilities will include monitoring behavioral and emotional well-being, and ensuring a safe environment conducive to positive development.

We have both full-time and part-time positions available. Full-time positions would require weekend availability.

Part-time positions require weekend availability, but with the flexibility of choosing every weekend or every other weekend depending on your availability and preference.

Responsibilities of the Residential Counselor

• Oversee physical care of residents
• Development of acceptable habits and attitudes for residents
• Management of resident behavior
• Assist in meeting the goals and objectives of any resident service plan
• Responsible for the coordinated supervision of the residents
• Continuous awareness and ability to give a report of each resident
• Maintain structure and regulations at all times
• Completely and accurately document any required forms
• Perform waive testing on residents after home visits, runaways, and as needed with complete accuracy and compliance
• Attend all training mandated and continuously pursue training opportunities to meet standards
• Other duties as assigned by the CEO, Director of Program Services, and Director of Residential
• Ability to work on the weekends

Qualifications of the Residential Counselor

• High School Diploma and six months experience working with children
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services OR actively pursuing the degree
• Knowledge and understanding of the organization’s mission and values
• Ability to support constructive resident-family visitation and resident involvement in community activities
• Ability to provide services in a culturally and linguistically competent manner
• Possess the temperament to work with and care for children, and youth, some with special needs in multiple age ranges
• Ability to accurately collect, review, and analyze waive testing of residents after home visits, runaways, and as needed

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 12 hours shifts overnight and Two 8 hour weekday day shifts

Pay: $23/hr-$26/hr
