Job summary

Wediko New Hampshire seeks a Residential Counselor/Direct Support Professional to support youth in a therapeutic program. You will work within an interdisciplinary team, implementing treatment plans and maintaining a safe, structured environment.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in counseling/psychology/social work or related field, plus at least one year of residential childcare experience and basic computer skills. Training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• One year or more of childcare experience in a residential setting with a similar population.
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Provide First Aid and supervise daily living activities for youth.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and compliance with program routines.
• Respond to incidents, de-escalate tensions, and coordinate with supervisors.
