Job summary

Center For Family Services is seeking a Full Time Residential Counselor for our Juntos Program in Bridgewater, NJ. The role involves assisting youth with daily life skills, education, and chores, ensuring trauma-informed care and support. The counselor will engage with and supervise youth while providing transportation and coordinating necessary appointments.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, 1+ year experience in child welfare, and a valid New Jersey driver’s license. The position offers a dynamic team environment dedicated to family reunification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in the child welfare field.
• 1-3 years experience working with children/adolescents in a residential setting.
• Current New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist youth with daily life skills, education, and chores.
• Ensure program structure aligns with goals and trauma-informed care.
• Coordinate activities and ensure medical needs are met.
