Job summary

Center For Family Services seeks a Full Time Residential Counselor for the Juntos Program in Bridgewater, NJ. The role includes supervising youth, teaching life skills, and coordinating education activities within a trauma-informed framework.

The position operates 8am–4pm, may require other shifts. Bilingual ability is preferred but not required. A NJ driver’s license and MVRC checks are required. Sign-on bonus of $500 may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the child welfare field or related social services.
• 1–3 years of experience with the program population or direct service in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program structure aligns with goals and trauma-informed practices.
• Report to and collaborate with therapists and designated staff.
• Coordinate recreation and physical education activities during shift.
• Assist youth with daily living skills, education, and chores.
• Coordinate appointments with medical staff and ensure medications are on hand.
