Job summary

Center for Family Services is seeking a part-time Residential Counselor for its YES Treatment program in Glassboro, NJ. The role involves providing 24/7 direct supervision and counseling to youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges, fostering a safe, supporting, therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with residents, managing daily living activities, and working collaboratively within a treatment team to implement therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current non-provisional driver's license required.
• 3 years’ experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting required or 1 year with a BA.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 supervision and support to youth residents.
• Assist youth with daily living activities.
• Conduct supervision checks based on program policy.
• Collaborate with the treatment team.
