Job summary

The State of Georgia seeks a Social Services Provider I or II for Macon RYDC to deliver rehabilitation counseling, intake and mental health assessments, and therapy for youth under DJJ supervision.

This role supports treatment planning, documentation, and crisis management while collaborating with the treatment team and clinical supervisors. A bachelor’s degree with required experience is essential, with licensure eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of job-related experience.
• SSP II requires four years of job-related experience.
• Some positions require eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or directs intake services to youth and conducts mental health screenings.
• Directs or completes mental health assessments of youth.
• Provides individual, group, or family therapy to support youth development and safety.
• Leads or participates on a treatment team to develop and monitor treatment plans.
• Prepares and submits required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Engages in clinical supervision to develop professional knowledge and skills.
