Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a full-time Recreation/Youth Program Assistant at the Phoenix Job Corps Center to supervise and coordinate recreational activities for students aged 16–24, ensuring safety and program quality.

The role emphasizes collaboration with center staff, community resources, and adherence to career success standards while maintaining accurate documentation and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with youth preferred.
• Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet insurability requirements.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow integrity guidelines and protect student data.
• Assist supervision of a recreation program for a diverse student population.
• Coordinate recreation activities with CPP and Social Development, including evenings.
• Coordinate activities with Center and local community resources.
• Ensure safety and program compliance within prescribed guidelines.
• Document student participation and accountability during recreation activities.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and arrange repairs when needed.
• Oversee appearance and organization of recreation facilities.
