Responsibilities

  • Follow integrity guidelines and protect student data.
  • Assist supervision of a recreation program for a diverse student population.
  • Coordinate recreation activities with CPP and Social Development, including evenings.
  • Coordinate activities with Center and local community resources.
  • Ensure safety and program compliance within prescribed guidelines.
  • Document student participation and accountability during recreation activities.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and arrange repairs when needed.
  • Oversee appearance and organization of recreation facilities.

Position Duties
  • Follow all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensure no manipulation of student data.
  • Assist with the supervision of a comprehensive and diverse recreation program.
  • Coordinate recreation activities with CPP and Social Development to include evening programming.
  • Coordinate recreation and leadership activities/programs with Center and local community resources.
  • Ensure safe practices and program compliance within prescribed safety guidelines.
  • Document student participation and accountability during recreation activities.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and material and control their use. Recommend purchase of specific equipment. Perform repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Be responsible for the overall appearance, condition, and organization of the recreation department facilities.
  • May oversee student recreation aide program.
  • Produce quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability and work productivity standards.
  • Plan, prioritize and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
  • Understand and apply job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities. Proactively maintain the skills required to perform job duties.
  • Mentor, monitor and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.
  • Provide high‑quality supervision and management for the student population and positively influence student behavior. Show respect and courtesy to students and hold them accountable for their actions and behavior.
  • Provide timely operational support for Center operations to ensure quality programs and services. Pursue improvement in Center operations to fulfill program objectives.
  • Exchange ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner and contribute meaningfully to group efforts by offering relevant ideas and knowledge. Provide quality and timely information to DOL/Company when requested.
  • Effectively articulate thoughts and ideas. Identify problems, analyze causes and evaluate appropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions. Follow up to ensure prompt/appropriate action is taken and that problems are in fact corrected.
  • Work in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.
  • Accept direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager to include assignments to temporarily perform job responsibilities of other departments and positions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with youth.
  • Must possess a valid in‑State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. CDL preferred.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrate the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load to ask for necessary assistance.
Position Hours

Sun - Tues 3pm – 12am, Wed - Thurs Off, Fri - Sat 3pm – 12am
