Job summary

Town of Natick's Recreation & Parks department is seeking enthusiastic program specialists to supervise youth and participants, lead games, and create a safe, engaging environment in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. You will work as part of a team, help with setup and cleanup, and participate in staff training.

CPR/FA certification is required or will be obtained. This is a part-time position (Grade 1) with hourly wages, offering flexible hours up to 19 per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with youth or in a recreation or related setting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Enjoys working with children and participants of all ages.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
• Has or will obtain CPR/FA certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise participants and lead games/activities.
• Plan and run games and activities to engage participants.
• Maintain a safe program environment and ensure supervision.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for activities and events.
• Attend staff trainings and work as part of a team to deliver a high-quality recreation experience.
