Natick Public Works Dept seeks a Program Assistant for the Teen Center, a drop-in afterschool program for middle and high school youth. The role involves supervising participants, planning activities, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment.
Responsibilities include coordinating with staff, assisting with setup/cleanup, and attending trainings as part of a team delivering quality recreation experiences. Hours are Mon-Thurs 2–6pm.
We're looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic individuals to join our Recreation & Parks team at the Teen Center! The Teen Center is a drop-in afterschool program for middle and high school aged youth, Mondays-Thursdays, 2:00-6:00pm. Participants who visit can use the game room, gym, and fields to choose how they spend their afternoons. Program Assistants work directly with participants and with the leadership team to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
Responsibilities include supervising participants and part-time staff, planning and running games and activities, maintaining a safe program environment, helping with setup and cleanup, attending staff training, and working as part of a team to provide a high-quality recreation experience.
This position is Grade 2 of the Town's Part-Time Pay Plan with an hourly range of $18.00 to $19.10 based upon qualifications and experience.
