Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with children.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, developing, and administering activities for ages 18 months to 17 years, including sports, crafts, academics and homework help.
  • Coaches, mentors, and oversees positive interaction and development of participants in recreation programs.
  • Prepares lesson plans for each day of the assigned program and ensures safe setup and breakdown of activity spaces.
  • Supervises recreational areas and enforces facility rules; tracks attendance and provides feedback to participants and parents.
